Delta Internet is a Dutch telecom provider for consumers and entrepreneurs. It is the second largest operator of fiber optic networks in the Netherlands . It operates under the brand names DELTA, DELTA Business (formerly CBizz), DELTA Fiber Network (formerly Fiber Optic Outside) and Caiway. The company is wholly owned by EQT Partners, a Swedish investment fund.

Delta Internet History
The DELTA was established on March 1, 2017. They became an independent company, and was no connected with DELTA NV (now PZEM), because this business unit was sold to EQT Partners from Sweden. As of 1 August 2018, the new legal name became DELTA Fiber Nederland BV.
In March 2019, it was announced that DELTA Fiber Nederland will be installing a fiber optic network in the Gouda neighborhoods of Plaswijck, Bloemendaal and Overwelled. This makes it clear that the company will also use the DELTA brand outside Zeeland for the further roll-out of fiber optic networks across the Netherlands. In January 2020, it will publicized that DELTA Fiber Netherlands will be connecting a fiber optic network in Hoek van Holland.
The acquisition of REKAM was announced on February 1, 2021. The history of both companies goes back to October 2001 when Kabelfoon started as the cable internet provider on REKAM’s network. With the acquisition, DELTA Fiber’s footprint increases with the cores in the Central Holland area, including Gouda.
